In Those Moments
In those moments,
quiet and dead,
we see the blood,
in the sand,
on our hands;
when reason dies,
when passion fades,
the dark shows
our lost way;
in bitter and rage,
in anguished dispair,
in tiny pieces,
the slow dying
of a grieving soul.
quiet and dead,
we see the blood,
in the sand,
on our hands;
when reason dies,
when passion fades,
the dark shows
our lost way;
in bitter and rage,
in anguished dispair,
in tiny pieces,
the slow dying
of a grieving soul.

Hi Hope
Now this one can make the hair stand up on the back of your neck...
I'll take that as a compliment!
wow, very powerful.
Hi Hope
Thanks for commenting on my blog. You gave me a "Eureka Moment" for the "Description" for my blog that I have been looking for...:)
Of course this was a compliment. Isn't it a poets goal to move people, to have an effect on them, to touch people spiritually. Your poems are very moving...
Thanks guys! Sometimes I feel very certain about my poetry and other times...I'm not so sure!
