Guilty Pleasure 101 Part Three
Okay--I'm still upset about last weeks departure of Chris! But I guess we have to move on..........my pick is now Taylor. I've always loved Taylor because he isn't the typical cookie cutter American Idol and because he's so much fun to watch, because he's having a good time. And I managed to get through once on his three phone numbers. But if it can't be Taylor, please, please, please don't let it be Katherine!

I agree, Taylor is a blast to watch. I am surprised he is till there, because I thought Taylor would have been ousted two weeks ago, because of his grey hair and his wacky antics wouldn't appeal to everyone.
I am disgusted Kelly Pickle lasted as long as she did. I think it was her looks that carried her as far as she went.
But what is wrong with Katharine? She is a fantastic singer, though not the showman Taylor is. And, yes, I'll admit, she gives me McPheever. I have a thing for brunettes for one, and two, she is so adorably goofy once the song is over.
Vocally....there is nothing wrong with Katherine, but to me, there is nothing inspired in her performances....I don't feel any passion in her performances, it all seems very perfunctory. I am 100% in agreement that it is disgusting how long Pickler lasted.....there were those more deserving of lasting as long as she did. I think one of the reasons I so like Taylor is that he isn't all cookie cutter...he is different, he's bold and he does what feels right to him.
